In recent months, an increasing number of redundancies and restructures have been taking place across Australia.

Many employers have made the difficult decision to reduce their workforce by implementing compulsory or "forced" redundancies. Whether economic conditions, changes in technology or the desire to improve business efficiency (or a combination of all three) are the driving force behind this increase, one thing is certain: redundancies are an unfortunate reality of doing business in a constantly changing world.
