Tayne Redman


Tayne joined the firm’s leading Litigation and Disputes Resolution team in 2021.  

He advises across a wide range of commercial litigation matters including insurance, insolvency, trade practices and competition, corporate and contractual disputes, defamation and crisis management, intellectual property disputes, construction and recovery actions.   A key area of Tayne’s practice is assisting in the provision of specialist advice and representation to the Local Government Association Mutual Liability Scheme regarding public liability and professional indemnity claims for Councils and Local Government bodies.

Tayne has a particular interest in assisting community and not-for-profit organisations with a wide range of practical and commercial dispute resolution solutions. Prior to joining Wallmans, Tayne was employed as a Civil Litigation lawyer for The Accessible Justice Project, a not-for-profit charity providing legal advice and representation.

Prior to working as a lawyer, Tayne was employed in marketing at Red Bull Australia both in Sydney and in Adelaide. He has solid expertise in e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media management and regulation.

Tayne has a Masters of Laws from the University of Adelaide, complementing his Bachelor degrees in Law and Legal Practice and Commerce.   Active in the industry, he is a member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Justice Access Committee. 

In 2021, Tayne was named as a finalist in the national Lawyers Weekly- 30 under 30 awards, a recognition of the profession’s rising stars and their outstanding legal competency, personal achievements and dedicated passion for the law.
