Alexia joined Wallmans Lawyers in 2019 and works in the firm’s leading Property, Construction and Infrastructure team.

Alexia assists with the provision of property law advice including on sales and acquisitions, commercial and residential developments and subdivisions, leasing, licensing, easements, options agreements, joint ventures and due diligence investigations. 

She has particular experience working on retail and commercial developments, including large land subdivisions, mixed use developments and community titles.  Her experience has extended to the retirement village sector where she has advised scheme operators and residents.

Alexia further assists our Local Government Property Division, advising metropolitan and regional councils in relation to leasing, licensing and other forms of occupancy agreements, the sale and purchase of property by councils, management of community land, sale of land for non-payment of rates, opening and closing of roads, authorisations and permits.

With a background in commercial and property law, prior to joining Wallmans, Alexia has advised on business sales and acquisitions, including in the purchase of commercial and retail premises, as well as acting for franchisors and franchisees in the acquisition and sales of such businesses. She has worked in Queensland and can assist with property transactions in that state. 

Alexia holds a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice from Flinders University.  Prior to working in property law, Alexia worked for
8 years in the banking sector and has key experience in banking documentation including loan agreements, guarantees and mortgages.
