Wallmans Lawyers invite you to our complimentary seminar on distribution agreements (under which a third party distributes goods or services to wholesalers, retailers or end users).

Our commercial and intellectual property lawyers Rob Surman, Mark Sallis and Paul Gordon will present on the benefits and pitfalls of distribution agreements, including –

  • often seen clauses and their meaning
  • territory issues
  • marketing obligations
  • liabilities to end users for defective products
  • intellectual property ownership
  • ownership and privacy of customer data
  • on-line sales
  • non-compete obligations
  • jurisdictional issues for international deals

Differences between distribution agreements, franchise agreements and commission agency agreements will be explored.

The seminar will benefit those thinking of distributing third party goods or services, or looking to engage a distributor of goods or services.
